Saturated steam is the best proven medium for sterilising porous loads and solid goods such as filters, textiles, fine tubing, filling line parts, small vials, vessels and assemblies.
The range is the most technically advanced saturated steam steriliser available. The result of over 50 years continuous development Fedegari units comply with or exceed all relevant standards including cGMP and GAMP.
The processing cycles are fully configurable to meet the needs of all load types, for example:
- Porous loads, wrapped goods, tubing, wrapped goods
- Solid items, glass plastic or metal.
- Assemblies with delicate membrane filters, using controlled rate pressure changes
- Fluids in small rigid vessels, using air ballasted during cooling to eliminate rupture risks
The sterilisers come equipped with a full compliment of service cycles: Vacuum and Pressure Leak rate tests, vent filter sterilisation, Bowie & Dick test.
Safety standards now dictate low final load temperatures. Forced cooling options include chilling the chamber jacket, internal chamber plate cooling, magnetically-coupled chamber fan(s) to force air circulation, spray cooling.
There are 150 standard chamber sizes from 200 to 28,000 litres, non-standard chamber designs can be undertaken. All models are available as single-door or pass-through configurations. Each unit is tailored to the customer’s specification, there is an exceptionally wide range of optional accessories.
