Starting from potable, borehole or brackish feedwater, there is an array of purification processes used to reach EP & USP standards for purified water. Pre-treatment and purification trains are bespoke, depending on the impurities to be removed and the output quality required – for example Purified Water, Highly Purified Water, Purified Water with Endotoxin Control. Installations often include storage, distribution loops sterilisable by steam or superheated water, hot and cold user points.
